Warm Drinks

There are many kinds of drinks to have in the winter to keep you warm. Some drinks can be hot chocolate, coffe, tea, and cappuchino. My favorite hot drink is hot chocolate. What is your favorite hot drink?

Snowshoeing

A very fun thing to do in the winter is going snowshoeing. This is an activity where you can have fun and get exercise at the same time. There are a few things you need to bring when snowshoeing. Some of these things are snow shoes, warm clothes, sun glasses, and snacks and water. There are many places you can go snow shoeing like city or state national parks. When snowshoeing there are only two ways, in which you can either walk or run. Also to avoid from falling you should keep your feet away from each other. Snowsoeing is also a very safe sport because it does not depend on sliding or speed.

Winter Fun

One of the most fun things to do in the winter is to go sledding and skiing. Every year me and my family go to Elma Meadows to go sledding and have a good time. My favorite part of sledding is when I start to go down, but I don't really like walking back up. One of the best things to bring is hot chocolate so you stay warm or any other hot drink. We usually bring two six foot sleds, but sometimes we bring tubes to go faster. If it is a really cold day when your out sledding you will probably want to wear a lot of warm clothes which could be gloves, scarfs, hats, boots, and sweaters.

Thanksgiving

Another one of my most favorite holidays are Thanksgiving. On thanksgiving I go to my grandma's house with my parents, uncles, aunts and cousins. We have so much food that I can't eat for days. My favorite food is the turkey and my favorite dessert is pumpkin pie.

Christmas

Christmas is my favorite time of year, because it is a time of giving and receiving. All across the country people are shopping and getting ready for the biggest holiday of the year. My most favorite thing at Christmas is giving people gifts.
